Are you a nature enthusiast or a dedicated hardcore birder? Or perhaps a leisure traveler seeking an easygoing nature experience? This is the place for you! I am Johan Chaves, a passionate naturalist and very keen birder who has been leading wildlife and birding specific tours in the Central Pacific region of Costa Rica since 2006.
Complementing the knowledge gained from a classroom, the experience of traveling through my country and the countless hours invested in the field birding or photographing have been the key to understanding how the different eco-systems interact. This has been valuable in gathering important knowledge to be able to expertly guide guests and teach about the natural history of the fascinating wild and plant life that abounds here in my country.
I offer 2 types of services; A guided nature history tour at Manuel Antonio National Park for those looking for wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, frogs, reptiles and more and also Birding specific tours which are exclusively offered to birders (from advanced to beginners) at different local birding spots.
